Rainy day Saturday

Get ‘er, Glenna! Glenna trying to kiss/tickle Cece.

Saturday’s are normally the only days that we have to ourselves with no appointments, therapies, school, dayhab, respite etc. scheduled.  Usually we spend our Saturday’s at the Saturday Market and then off to the park for a picnic but today has been rather rainy outside.  Since Cece is still getting over her cough we decided to spend the day in, atleast up until right now because it looks like it’s stopped raining and is warming up so we might go out after Gege gets up from her nap.

Cece after “helping” aka licking the frosting beaters!

So it’s been a kind of lazy day today.  No alarm clocks going off, the potential to sleep in (**cough…yeah right…cough**). Despite going to bed a little bit later than usual last night Cece was up at 5:45 a.m.  I had her come lay down with me until 7 a.m.

Fresh Strawberry cupcakes with creamy coconut frosting! Plus they’re completely dairy free!

Then it was just a slow morning, breakfast, coffee, potty training, laundry, potty training, laundry, potty training, laundry, play, lunch, Gege nap, laundry, potty training (Cece is learning and working on potty training!) make cupcakes, watch a movie, write a blog post! etc.

Cece tasting and enjoying the fruits of our efforts!

I hope to get a chance to write up the lengthy post about why it is that we’ve been celebrating and so happy this past couple days.  It’s floating around in my head I just haven’t gotten it down on “paper”.  I fully intended on writing it last night but after a long emotional day I got the girls the bed a little late, then I decided to do some workout videos. After 40 minutes of total resculpt aerobics, 20 minutes of cardio kick boxing, and 30 minutes of weight loss pilates plus 9,000 stepsrecorded on the pedometer, I was exhausted so writing just wasn’t going to happen.  But hopefully soon!  Hope y’all are having a great weekend!
