Harvestness Daily

Harvestness Happiness is…

Our first harvest from our garden.

Today while Cece was at summer school, Gege and I harvested some lettuce and baby spinach from our garden.  It was so awesome to know that we grew them ourselves.  All our hard work brought part of our dinner to the table and we knew just what was in it and how it had been grown, etc.  The girls loved it….

mmm, yummy!! Glenna loved the baby spinach and even asked for 2nds!

mmm leaves!! Cece’s favorite!

But that was at dinner, before that we had a full day.  Cece came home from summer school and then went to respite care this afternoon.  Boy oh, boy did it get hot today!  Glenna and I were walking home from running some errands and it was just hot.  We got home and opened all the doors and then Cece came home.  What do you do when it’s a sweltering 70F outside??….

eat icecream on the front porch…of course!!

mmm icecream!

brr this icecream is cold!

kinda hard to eat and take bites out of things when you’ve lost some teeth!

oh yeah speaking of teeth!!  Cece is now down 3 baby teeth!  She lost her 3rd one yesterday!  …..

3rd tooth lost! She’s growing so fast!!

It was a great day!  I love ALL my kids dearly!  Be them here or be them in Ohio!  They are all my babies whom I will love unconditionally for all eternity! I hope each and everyone of you takes time each day to reflect and give thanks for your happiness for no matter what struggles you may be facing you must always remember to live each day to the fullest!  Happiness is a choice, it’s sometimes not an easy choice but it’s a choice the we each must make every single day.  It’s easy to be sad and lonely it’s hardwork to be happy, successful, and productive each day!  The best things in life are NEVER the easiest! Live on, be happy, life is too short not to!
