Wow I realized last night that it’s been over a year since I left my ex-boyfriend and moved into the S.A.F.E. Shelter in King Salmon and onto the freedom that we know enjoy.
The year has been filled with many highs and lows, successes and failures, lessons learned and knowledge shared. A year of growth, self discovery, empowerment, and accomplishments.
I would like to take this anniversary to say….
(Yup’ik for THANK YOU VERY MUCH!!!)
To everyone for their support and understanding during this past year!!! Special thanks to my friends and family, the entire staff at not only the S.A.F.E. Shelter in both King Salmon and Dillingham but also at the LeeShore Center here in Kenai!!! Also a special thanks to the wonderfully generous organizations that helped us here specifically the Fraternal Order of Eagles Aerie 3525 and Auxiliary, Kenai American Legion, The Moose Lodge and great new friends here in Kenai that have been instrumental in our getting back on our feet!
It has been an amazingly wonderful year and for that I will be eternally grateful!
